These cameras are 8 megapixel, with a capture resolution of 3840x2160 pixels, using large lenses for excellent picture quality. These are the best choice for lasers with very large working areas, above 1000mm in size.

  • 90mm x 15mm module size
  • Manual focus
  • USB2.0

Each camera comes with a lens of your choosing, and a 3.2 meter (10 foot) USB cable.  If you are outside of the US, you may be required to pay import duty on this item.

In order to determine the minimum height for the camera to see your whole laser area, use the Camera Selection Help option in the Help menu in LightBurn. It will tell you the minimum mounting height to see the entire area of your laser, given the size of it. You then measure the height of your mounting location, and choose a camera that requires about 2" less height than that.

Note that there will always be a bit of image loss from un-distorting the image, so you should always err slightly toward having a little extra room.

The 110 and 95 degree lens variants are no longer available, and the 120 and 85 degree lenses are their replacements.

Note that these cameras are exactly as shown, with no enclosure. You will need to produce an enclosure or mount. This camera fits our large camera mount, which we sell separately here: https://lightburnsoftware.com/collections/cameras/products/camera-mount-for-8mp-camera

Also note that camera sales are final - we do not accept returns, though we will replace units that are damaged or defective.

Documentation for setting up and using the camera can be found here: https://lightburnsoftware.github.io/NewDocs/UsingACamera.html

If you are using Windows 7, you might need to install a driver for the camera, which you can find here: https://forum.lightburnsoftware.com/t/windows-7-drivers-for-lightburn-camera/9658

We have a video walkthrough of the setup and calibration process here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONnmCaoUkLQ
